Comnplace Extension Privacy
How the Chrome extension handles your data
Overview
The Comnplace Chrome extension lets you save the current page to your Comnplace groups. We keep data usage minimal and focused on providing this functionality. This page explains what the extension stores and sends, and your choices.

Data We Handle
- Authentication token — when you generate a token in Comnplace and paste it into the extension, it is stored locally in your browser via
chrome.storage
and sent to Comnplace only to authenticate your requests. - Page information — the current tab’s URL and title are sent to Comnplace only when you click “Save”.
- Selected group IDs — the groups you choose in the popup are sent with the save request.
How We Use Data
- To authenticate your save requests and associate links with your account.
- To create link entries in your selected Comnplace groups.
- We do not sell data or share it with third parties.
Security & Retention
- All requests are sent over HTTPS.
- The token is stored only on your device and transmitted only to Comnplace.
- The token remains until you clear it (or uninstall the extension). Saved links stay in your Comnplace account until you delete them.
Your Choices
- Revoke and regenerate your extension token in Settings.
- Clear the token by removing extension data or uninstalling the extension.
- For account-level data deletion, contact us at support@comnplace.com.
